The lecture included two moments of in-depth study, a first part of a historical-artistic introduction, organized by the curator Silvana Cincotti, during which it was possible to analyze the beginnings in Europe of the art of weaving, following its evolution up to the 1930s in France. Following, the live connection with the Scassa Arazzeria and the narration of the events that led Ugo Scassa, founder of the Arazzeria, to establish himself on the art scene and to create the Arazzeria.
Massimo Bilotta, who succeeded Ugo Scassa in the running of the company, led the "visitors" on an interesting journey, explaining the main manufacturing techniques and giving the opportunity to know this extraordinary world better, approaching the works and focusing on the projects that will be the future of tapestry and textile art.
